Highway to Hellas
Jorg Geissner's life as a German banker changes irrevocably during a vacation to Greece's Paladiki Island. A business trip to check on the status of the islanders' "Galapagos in Greece" project, for which his bank gave a loan and credit, brought him here. As a German, he wishes to conduct an exhaustive investigation, but Panos, the owner of a mini-mart, and the mayor attempt to undermine him—to conceal an unfavorable truth. After each trial fails due to the islanders' covert intervention, Jorg's journey becomes lengthened, much like The Odyssey's, causing him to reconsider his life's objectives and duties.
