He arrives at the start of a new school year at a private boarding school for musicians, but Henry(14) is socially challenged. Astonishingly, he realizes that he enjoys playing the organ while there. An overall passion for the instrument, Henry's safe haven from other pupils' cruel treatment of him in school, is born out of this initial fascination. He has a gifted teacher in Ms. Schmidt, who sees it. Henry's relationship with his roommates Erik, Mik, and Sebi is becoming increasingly strained as she grows more interested in him. In Erik's mind, his standing as the school's prodigy is in jeopardy because of his ability to play the organ. From the moment he stepped foot on campus, Henry was ensnared by Erik and Melanie, who have held sway over him ever since. As long as Erik and his goons Sebi and Mik are in charge, they will do whatever to make Henry's life a misery.
