Ghosts of Mississippi

It's a drama about the last trial of Medgar Evers' killer, Bryon De La Beckwith. It's about how he tried to get away with murdering the civil rights leader in the 1960s. It starts with the murder and the events that led up to the two first trials, both of which ended with a hung jury, so it talks about them. When Bobby DeLaughter, the district attorney in this movie, becomes more involved in bringing Beckwith to trial for the third time 30 years after the first time, the movie shows how Myrlie Evers, the wife of Medgar Evers, helps him become more involved. In this story, some of the characters are played by real people who took part in the story.
