Gebo and the Shadow
Gebo continues to work as an accountant even though he is getting on in years and is generally worn out in order to provide for his family. Despite the fact that he lives with his wife, Doroteia, and his daughter-in-law, Sofia, the absence of Joo, their son and husband, is a source of concern for them. It seems as though Gebo is keeping something from everyone, most notably Doroteia, who is impatiently awaiting the return of her son. Even though she is anticipating the return of her spouse, Sofia is nervous about seeing him. Joo shows up out of nowhere, and immediately after that, everything shifts.
