Los Angeles, 1949. Mickey Cohen, a ruthless mob boss from Brooklyn, runs this town. He gets money from drugs, guns, prostitutes, and, if he gets his way, every wire bet made west of Chicago. And he does all of this with the help of his own paid goons, as well as the police and politicians who work for him. It's enough to scare even the toughest, bravest cop...
