The year is 1863. The streets were the places where the United States of America was first conceived. Avenging his father's death, Amsterdam Vallon returns to the Five Points of America to take on psychopathic gang leader Bill the Butcher. Vallon, aided by an eager pickpocket and a new army, is on a mission to avenge the Butcher and restore peace to the region.
