Support from US troops stationed in Asia, and later from the United States, helps two actors to establish a foundation for mixed-race 'orphans' who are treated as outcasts in their community in 1959. In this way, Childhelp was born, which later went on to operate multi-disciplinary institutions for abused and neglected children throughout the world, including the United States of America. They include bright Jacob Fletcher, whose stepfather, a lawyer, tormented him into complete trauma and reclaims him just after he has spent the previous decade in prison. Jacob's peers have sad stories of their own, but the experienced and devoted staff at the former farm is able to help the vast majority of them decisively through the use of animal therapy.
