During the turbulence that followed the Iranian presidential election, Neda Agha-Soltan was shot and died in the streets of Tehran on June 20, 2009. Images of her final moments, taken on mobile phones, emerged on computer screens throughout the world within hours, drawing international attention to enormous protests against Iran's disputed elections. "For Neda" premieres immediately before her death anniversary, and includes previously unseen footage of Neda with friends and family, as well as rare video of her taken the day she died.
