In California, Charlie Cox should have made a pit stop for gas. His automobile runs out of gas in a scary Nevada hamlet when he is on a cross-country vacation with his teenage daughter, Joleen. Charlie and Joleen decide to spend the night at a run-down trailer park because they can't find any fuel. Joleen notices two adolescent males, Jimmy and Pinky, who could be the town's serial killer.
