The Hollander family's trip to Europe is cut short when their plane has to land in Vulgaria. The Hollanders get off the plane to take pictures, which leads to accusations that they are spying on the United States. They hide in the American Embassy, where the absent ambassador's son is looking after them. They are being chased by Vulgarian soldiers, so they take refuge there.
