Dogtooth
Three kids are imprisoned on a remote country house that could be on another planet. The group spends their days listening to endless handmade tapes that teach them a new language. Any term that originates from beyond their immediate family is given a new meaning right away. As a result, 'the sea' is a giant armchair, while 'zombies' are small yellow flowers. The uber-controlling parents scare their children into submission by inventing a sibling whom they claim to have banished for his misbehavior.
