'Marbles' Marbeck has the ability to see ghosts, thanks to the use of a home-made medicine manufactured from his late father's neurological medication mixed with cannabis. On the pursuit of a serial killer, Officer Jayson Tagg, a would-be super-cop, is found killed. As a result, when Marbles' mother decides to sell the family farm and the only way to purchase the house from her is to accept the money offered by Tagg in exchange for his assistance, Marbles agrees to take the money.
