Dauntless: The Battle of Midway

The Japanese Navy has surged throughout the Pacific Ocean by June 1942. A U.S. carrier group is positioned off the coast of Midway, charged with launching a surprise attack on the Japanese. A U.S. Navy dive bomber crew of two is forced to ditch in the sea during this crucial combat. With no way to get back to shore, the soldiers resort to their friends for help: specifically, the motley crew of the PBY Catalina, who are sent out to look for any survivors. With time passing and the prospect of rescue dwindling, the guys are forced to confront their own death.
