The Appalachian Trail's Dead Woman's Hollow Road is the focus of a paranormal study by five college students. Deaths begin to take place in their camp as they investigate. As long as there are people left alive, the only hope they have for their survival is an inexperienced sheriff who must learn that the darkness encircling his calm village isn't supernatural but rather an evil that exists in the real world.
