Good-hearted blacksmith Eyvind (Max von Sydow) hides away infant Prince Siegfried (Benno Furmann) after two evil kings murder his father. The gods, however, dispatch a blazing meteor that exposes Siegfried's destinies and sets him on a journey he will never forget. Kristanna Loken (his true love) depends on him defeating the evil dragon Fafnir in order to save her kingdom from impending doom.
