Fellow student Vincent is enamored with Roseanne at the school. Her mother, Maggie, is having an affair with her husband, Fred, who is a sex addict. A furious Fred turns on his stepdaughter Roseanne after learning about Maggie's infidelity. Maggie plots her retribution with the support of her lover, Jimmy, but Vincent may be the one to help her construct a new life in this contemporary fable largely inspired on Fyodor Dostoyevsky's "Crime and Punishment."
