Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen

When Mary Elizabeth Steppe, a.k.a. Lola, relocates from New York to Dellwood, New Jersey with her mother and two younger twin sisters, she feels as if her cultured and amusing world has come to an end. During her time at school, the displaced Lola befriends the unpopular Ella, who is also a big admirer of her favorite rock band, Sidarthur. Carla Santini, the most popular girl at school, however, disagrees with Lola on the lead role in a Pygmalion adaptation and the leadership of their classmates. Lola and Ella plan to travel to New York and get tickets from scalpers when Sidarthur's last show is sold out. However, while assisting the lead singer and Lola's idol, Stu Wolf, the girls get themselves into trouble, permanently altering their lives.
