Real tale of four men who directly escaped fatality through Argentina's military death squads in 1977. Claudio Tamburrini is a goalkeeper for a minor-league football team when he is abducted by participants of the Argentine military police and also taken to an unofficial detention center on the incorrect suspicion that he is a terrorist. As he is tortured by intelligence agents looking for information he does not have, Tamburrini fully anticipates to be eliminated. After numerous sessions of ruthless abuse, Tamburrini and his fellow slaves Guillermo and Tano are being readied for execution when, in a last determined act, Tamburrini dives out a home window throughout a rainstorm.
