Courtney Bennett, a former US figure skating prospect, manages the city's public skating rink. When the mayor reveals that the rink will be closed, Courtney is devastated, but she is determined to keep it open for as long as possible. Having been unsuccessful in her attempts to warm the Mayor's scrooge-like heart, Courtney turns to Noah Tremblay, a former professional hockey player and single father who owns a new indoor skating center, for assistance. Together, the two discover more than just the holiday spirit while spending time on the ice.
