A severely sick guy, Simon Leach, has been found in his home. He brings together a gathering of damaged and desperate people in the middle of the desert, feeding off of their sorrow, agony, and panic. However, Simon has a much grander purpose for his followers than simply showering them with love and devotion when they're in need of it.
