Charlie's Country
Blackfella Charlie is getting older, and he's starting to feel a little out of sorts. Because of the proper policing of whitefella laws that don't generally make much sense, and because Charlie's kin and ken appear more interested in going along with things than in doing anything about it, the intervention is making life more difficult for his remote community, which is already struggling. The result is that Charlie leaves his village in order to live the "old way," but in the process of doing so, he sets off a sequence of events that leads him back to his hometown broken and a little wiser.
