Max has been in the business of planning weddings for a long time. His latest and last gig is a big party with stuffy period costumes for the caterers, a vain, overly sensitive singer who thinks he's a French James Brown, and a sad, micromanaging groom who wants to make Max's night as miserable as possible. But Max's coworker and supposed girlfriend, Joisette, seems to have written him off. She goes about her work without a care in the world while openly flirting with a much younger server. It's going to be a long night, especially when the groom starts his aerial serenade.
