Trevor is a smart young man with a bright future. However, he also suffers from bipolar illness, as well as is quite in denial concerning the nature of his disease. After a particularly fierce episode of mania, his mom sends him to an old family members friend, Dr. Robert Weldon, for therapy. Dr. Weldon takes Trevor in, welcoming him to stay in his house with his other half Cynthia and young son Alton while he goes through treatment.
