By1933, Prohibition had established itself as a thriving business, with ordinary folks breaking the law, concealing themselves in the shadows, and operating at night. Even crooked cops such as Jack Malone have benefited from the new world order. He levies a 'luxury tax' on every bootlegger and lawbreaker in the small town he has promised to safeguard. While robbing the town's newest speakeasy, Jack and his crew unearth a vampire clan hell-bent on taking over the town. Chesterfield, an ancient vampire, and his army now face an impossible task: concealing their secret at all costs. As a result of the bloodshed, some bodies are left behind and innocent townspeople are captured as lambs to be slaughtered. With nowhere else to turn, Jack teams up with a busboy and a deranged preacher to defend the town and mount a final defense against Chesterfield and his vampires.
