Battle Royale II: Requiem
Three years have passed since the events of the first Battle Royale, and Shuya Nanahara has evolved into a worldwide infamous terrorist with the intention of overthrowing the government. On Christmas Day, his terrorist organization, Wild Seven, orchestrates an attack that kills 8,000 people and destroys multiple structures in Tokyo. The new pupils are assigned to work in pairs, and their collars are electronically linked so that if one of them is murdered, the other one is killed as well. This is done so that the government can research the benefits of "teamwork." Within the next three days, they have to eliminate Nanahara or perish.
