Arc is the story of Paris Pritchert, a former police officer turned heroin dealer and addict, who embarks on a quest to locate a missing child in the aim of redeeming his crumbling character. The hitch is that, like all addicts, Paris' confidence is entirely dependent on the drugs in his system and — in this case— his absolute belief that he can achieve his objective if he can just stay high24/7 and alive long enough to do it. Paris enlists the assistance of Maya Gibbs, an African American prostitute who is fluent not only in street slang but also in the works of Maya Angelou and Nadine Gordimer. And together, this dysfunctional duo crosses paths with the child's parents, a doctor with a penchant for soliciting "Street Boys," a self-proclaimed King Of Porn, a drug supplier with an uncanny ability to create impeccably presented hors d'oeuvres, and a hardened cop with more scams than even the most seasoned street hustler.
