One year after leaving prison, Nick Davis is hired to work at a warehouse in the harbor owned by Isshin Tendo, the Japanese Yakuza patriarch. He will be operating a forklift. During the assault, Nick rescues and saves the life of Shuji Sawamoto, who represents the interests of the Yakuza in the United States. Shuji hires Nick to work for the Yakuza and becomes Nick's godfather when he swears to join the Yakuza. As a lonely FBI undercover agent sent to infiltrate the criminal organization, Nick must face this challenge alone. Nick's boss Littman calls off the operation when the FBI finds out that Campanela is planning a huge attack to destroy the Yakuza. The Italian Mafia will take care of the dirty work for him now. But because Nick has a close relationship with Shuji and his goddaughter Yuko, he has to help the Japanese family that he knows.
