Adam
Abla, a widow and mother of a 10-year-old girl, is struggling to survive and provide the best possible future for her child. Following her husband's death, she launches a home-based business from her kitchen, which is visible from the street via a metal shutter. Every day, she bakes and sells handmade bread and several traditional Moroccan delicacies. Abla has grown old before her time, isolated from life, living a life devoid of happiness, and finding comfort in her work. She has replaced affection with pragmatism since she is unable to express love to her child. When Samia, a heavily pregnant young lady, knocks on her door, seeking shelter and burdened by the weight of her burden of giving birth to a child without a father, Alba has no idea that this chance encounter will change her life forever.
