The suicides of teenagers in a small village appear to be the result of mass hysteria. Nancy Thompson, the daughter of a police officer, believes that the perpetrator, child molester Fred Krueger, was set afire by enraged parents years before. Krueger has now come back in the dreams of the children of the people who killed him, claiming their lives as his revenge. Nancy and her lover, Glen, must concoct a plan to draw the monster out of the realm of nightmares and into the real world.........
