Sam Montgomery is a tomboyish and unpopular student. He requests that she meet him at the Halloween dance at 11 p.m. in the center of the dance floor. The only catch is that she must return to her Stepmother Fiona's diner by precisely 12 a.m., as she is not permitted to be there. Before Nomad can discover who she is, she must depart with her best buddy Carter driving her back to the diner. Sam's life devolves into chaos after that night.
