If Paige Summerland is a relationship expert who lives in LA and writes for a magazine, she's flying east to spend the Christmas holiday with her fiancé, meet his parents for the first time, and start planning her "dream wedding." Because of the snowstorm, Paige's excitement turns to panic. Dylan, a bar manager who has lost faith in love, bumps into her and they fight. Before Paige thinks it's over, Dylan rents an SUV and gives her a ride to New York for Christmas. The Harpers, a 20-year-old couple, join Paige and Dylan on the snowy road trip. Frank and Maxine Harper are an older couple whose 20-year marriage has lost its fire. As they go on their journey, Paige and Dylan start to have feelings for each other. In this case, as the young woman gets ready to get married, she wonders if she's going to be happy with her new husband. She might even learn a surprising lesson about love.
